Samsung Galaxy A53 5G review

Image
Samsung has been maintaining a particularly strong Galaxy A series of devices for some time now. It has been iterating and improving its value proposition on these phones, and the new 2022 refresh is no different. You can read all about the new  Galaxy A73 5G ,  A53           5G  and  A33 5G   here  to see exactly what we mean. The new Galaxy A53 5G is now here for review. Since the 5X series has arguably been one of the better-geared devices in the series, it is also the toughest one to upgrade. In comparison, this year's Galaxy A33 5G is much lower-hanging fruit, considering how its predecessor came with an LCD. Changes going from the A52s 5G to the A53 5G are a lot more subtle. Simply put, not much has changed, certainly not enough to entice current owners of a recent Galaxy A5X series phone, but there are still some noteworthy changes here and there. Samsung Galaxy A33 5G review

Image
Samsung's Galaxy A mid-range lineup has undergone its yearly refresh and looks really good. The new Galaxy A33 is probably one of the most interesting models this year as it has been significantly upgraded since the Galaxy A32 and makes for an excellent bang for the buck offer at the €300 mark. The Galaxy A33 5G has been promoted to the waterproofed league, and it now features the same IP67-rated ingress protection treatment as the higher-tier models. Until now, the A3x models weren't sealed against water. But that's not all, of course. The Galaxy A33 is keeping the 90Hz Super AMOLED screen of the Galaxy A32, but it employs a much more powerful Exynos 1280 chipset with a newer processor and gaming-friendly graphics. And there is an integrated 5G modem, too, so now you won't have to choose between 4G and 5G versions. The camera has been improved, too. The 48MP primary features optical stabilisation and supports up to 4K video capturing. The 13MP selfie camera can do 4K...

These are the five best features of iOS 16

Image
Apple announced iOS 16 during the  WWDC 2022 keynote . The upcoming software for iPhones is full of new features, but there are a few that are going to be extra nice when you can get your hands on iOS 16 later this fall. Here are the five best features of this upcoming operating system. Edit, unsend, and unread Messages on iOS 16. iOS 16 is bringing some major improvements to iMessage. When it’s available to all users, you’ll have 15 minutes to edit or unsend any messages. This is very useful when you misspelled a word or send the wrong message to the wrong person. Unread, on the other hand, is useful to help you keep track of what messages you want to answer later. It’s important to notice that at least edit and unsend message features will need all devices to be running iOS 16, iPadOS 16, macOS 13 Ventura, or watchOS 9. A brand new Lock Screen to your current iPhone The most important feature of iOS 16 – or at least the most noticeable – is the new Lock Screen. It offers a...

Earth’s CO2 level passes a new climate milestone

Image
The atmospheric CO2 level in May was 50 percent higher than during the pre-industrial era, raising fears about climate change. Concentrations of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere in May were 50 percent higher than during the pre-industrial era, reaching levels not seen on Earth for about four million years, the main US climate agency said on Friday. The amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere passed the threshold of 420 parts per million (ppm), the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) said. PPM is a unit of measurement used to quantify pollution in the atmosphere. Last May, the rate was 419ppm, and in 2020, 417ppm. Global warming caused by humans, particularly through the production of electricity using fossil fuels, transport, the production of cement, or even deforestation, is responsible for the new high, the NOAA said. CO2 is a greenhouse gas that traps heat, gradually causing global warming. It remains in the atmosphere and oceans for thousands of years. ...
